KAHNIYAH'sIn 1979, Brother Kahniyah and his family journeyed to the country of Liberia, on the western coast of the African continent. Having never been out of America, this was certainly a new and vastly different experience, especially having been born and reared in America.
For the next thirteen years, Brother Kahniyah traversed the western coast of Africa, including: Liberia, Ghana, Senegal, Cote d'ivoire and Lagos, Nigeria. During these travels Brother Kahniyah learned the people, their cultures, languages and more importantly, the health benefits of various foods and other natural herbal body products, hair products and Black Soap products.
Returning to America in the early 1990's armed with the knowledge of so many herbals natural skin and hair care products being manufactured on the continent, by the mid-1990's Brother Kahniyah opened a small business offering Body Massage, Reflexology, Ear Candling and Pedicure, later incorporating Aqua Chi into the service using Shea Butter and Black Soap from Africa which he familiarized himself with their use during his 13-year travels on the continent.
Soon many of his clients began requesting to purchase the products he was using on them for their continued use at home between visits for the service he was providing. Later, his clients began inquiring about Hair products from Africa, and it was at that point that Brother Kahniyah expanded into marketing a broad range of hair care, Black soap, skin and body care and other natural herbal products from Africa, and as the saying goes, "The Rest is History."Main Location :8123 S. After reaching maturity the tree produces fruits from which the Shea Butter is extracted. Because Shea Butter contributes to the economic, health and social values for the continenent, it is forbidden to destroy Shea Butter trees in Africa. The "Butter" which is derived from the seeds serves as a valuable source of food.
