Music is like MSG for emotions, amplifying everything that's going on in your life, blowing things out of proportion, and causing all sorts of health problems. But, like MSG, you really miss it when it's not in your Chinese Food.

I ran into Spiderman at a bar one time and somehow we started talking about our ex girlfriends and ended up in this long, heartfelt conversation about life and love and all that deep, universal stuff. It was pretty cool, we really bonded, right there in the bar. But the next week, some checks I'd forgotten about finally came through the bank, and I ended up overdrafting big time and getting all these fees, and Spiderman was nowhere to be seen. I guess my problems weren't big enough to warrant his time. So...no, I don't have any heroes.
