About Me

----------------------------------------------------------- Lives on the Sunshine Coast Queensland. Set out musically in a primary school choir, then played guitar through teenage years, and at 20 played a solo guitar/singer spot in Brisbane, but was fascinated by the banjo - bought one and soon played with a group, Speargrass, in the 80s at a regular homestead gig, and various hoedowns around Central Queensland. Returned to the Sunny Coast and joined friends in a chicago style & contemporary blues band for a while, then settled into family life and the earth spun thousands. -----------------------------------------------------One day I was asked, "Are you Darryl the banjo player?", and so it started again.
