I am a Mezzo Soprano performer and teacher of singing.
As a singer I have performed as an Oratorio Soloist, in Opera, and as a Recitalist.
In Oratorio I have performed in London at the Barbican, The Queen Elizabeth Hall, St John's Smith Square and Blackheath Concert Halls, in many concert halls and Cathedrals throughout Great Britain, and in Oporto and Paris.
In Opera I have performed the title role in Carmen in Wellington, New Zealand; Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutti in The Far East; and other roles have included Mamma Lucia in Cavalleria Rusticana, Ludmilla in The Bartered Bride, Sixth Flower Maiden in Parsifal, and The Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas.
It is as a recitalist that I feel most at home. I love the repertoire and the sense of being responsible for what I am doing. I have really enjoyed doing some recitals with the guitarist John Mills, and most recently I have been doing some recitals with the pianist Nigel Foster.
