Band Members: The first three audio music samples provided are a glimpse into Dan's "glory days" in Minneapolis with the band Mick Sterling & the Stud Brothers. These songs were recorded for the band's self-titled debut CD in 1992. "Dr. Feelgood" is a James Brown cover written by Dan Hartman. This song was recorded LIVE at our Sunday night house gig - a warehouse district juke joint called Bunker's. The next two tunes are Stud Brothers originals recorded in the studio in the fall of 1991. "Come To Bed" is a Mick Sterling-penned song featuring a locomotive trombone solo by the one and only King Steven. "Lay It On The Line" is a composition from sax player Pat Makin..one of my favorites from the album. The fourth track is a bit more current. Recorded at Nashville's Studio 515 in March of 2008, "If You Were Mine Tonight" is an original composition from Heino and Christie's Ex front man Mark Schaffel. Musicians included Heino on lead vocals and acoustic guitars, Mark - keyboards and background vocals and 515's Rod Lewis with some tasty bass. I contributed a somewhat non-obtrusive drum and shaker track for the recording. ENJOY!

Sounds Like: Last weekend sounded like...Friday 5/15 and Saturday 5/16: A double shot weekend at the Double E for the Ex-Men. Thanks to Christie's Ex frontman Mark Schaffel for filling in on keyboards - you rock!
