Poison can be seen as the type of person who rarely speaks.He was born of Mr & Mrs Johnson on the 9th of November 1974 and christened Phillip Ray Johnson in Kingston,Jamaica.He resided in Shortwood,St.Andrew for three years after which he moved to May Pen,Clarendon.There he began his primary education at the May Pen Primary School after which he moved on to May Pen Secondary School Central High.In the year 1990 at the age of sixteen he began taking his music career seriously discovering that his singing could be combined with deejaying to create an interesting sound.He made his first recording at the Kingston 6 Records and recorded the song Wolf in sheep clothing for Schema LB produced by David Harten,then after he linked up with Two Hard Recording Studio situated at 6 Jacks Hill Road with a song entitled"If I Should Fall For You"He was also a part of the famous "Dutty Cup Crew".With:
the late Daddy Gang,Sean Paul,Kid Kurupt,Poison,Massy Kid,Lugga Man that was The real dutty family.Following this was his biggest and best performance which was at the Countryside Club in Half Way Tree at a show billed"The Return of Beres Hammond and Buju Banton".With the support of friends and family he decided to go the extra mile.He is presently recording with Trend Setta Production.My hobbies are :football,giving jokes,making music, etc
