Kit Dean is a member of The Crap Rock All Stars, who contrary to their name are anything but crap. Are they unique? Are they cutting edge? Are they 10 years ahead of their time or ten years behind? Those questions don't really matter; the important thing is they rock. They are a 3 piece, indie pop, country rock, punk sensation. If you like music and you haven't tuned in, you are doing yourself and your musical tastes a disservice. Think of how many times you wind up with some dreadful American Idol, canned hit, stuck in your head for no other reason than you turned on your TV or radio and had it crammed into your ears. With this in mind, give The Crap Rock All Stars an honest, not just in the background, listen and guaranteed you'll be "hooked". Their simplistic approach to music is per the bands estimation, “shamelessly underappreciated in an industry where the next big thing isn’t discovered but manufactured either by the industry itself, or the scene from which a band may come. Scenes are just miniature versions of the industry itself. If you don’t fit the scene industry it doesn’t matter how good you are you don’t get heard.” Does this mean to say that The Crap Rock All Stars are pompous over confident jerks and hold themselves above any scene that may grant them even a little exposure? Not at all, it is simple and honest just like their approach to their music. Any exposure or accolades they may receive are greatly appreciated and humbly, taken to heart.
