If deepness should be described with a name maybe "Converge" would be the right one! The two friends from british Newcastle are deeper than deep. This can be recognized perfectly on their first release on Diamondhouse Records: 'Converge EP' strongly shows influences of the two guys' personal heroes such as Sandy Rivera, Joey Negro, DJ Spen or Chuck Love. This five-track ep is deeeep but warm, chillin' but thrillin', soulful but powerful and includes almost each element out of Converge's repertoire. It could nearly been described as a short album as the sounds are comin in an unbelievable broad variety. Stephen Brown & Ray Fenwick alias Converge definitely belong to the hottest upcoming Deep House artists from the UK! Watch out for more of these two extraordinary pleasant guys!

Converge aka Stephen Brown & Ray Fenwick have been Djing, producing and remixing together for the past 4 years. Their varied musical experiences and dedication to house music have meant that their productions and dj sets have established Converge as 'the hottest upcoming deep house artists from the UK!'Converge are back with new tracks, a fresh approach but same determination to make music to move people. Their musical philosophy remains the same but their latest tracks highlight their love of the more electronic side of the house spectrum, with tracks already getting support from many local dj's and radio producers.Since their first early clubbing experiences house music and electronica have played a massive part in Stephen & Ray's musical upbringing. Whether it be big UK dance acts such as the Prodigy or Groove Armada, or the underground house music they both worshipped at the north-east clubbing mecca Shindig. One thing was for sure, they wanted to be involved beyond the dancefloor.After hosting their successful monthly show on midlands based ID Radio, they were invited to test their productions skills on the Masterbuilders 2007 release 'Man Cannot Rise' featuring Steve Edwards (Cassius - Sound of Violence, Bob Sinclar - World Hold On...). Their efforts resulted in two releases on the single and its remix package.Converge's original productions were soon picked up by Munich based Diamondhouse Records with tracks featuring on the labels 2007 ADE sampler, and Open Bar Music's 'Back 2 House' compilation. This was quickly followed by the 'awesome Converge EP' (Franco Martinelli on housepage.net).With a string of remix work in the pipeline and more exhilarating material to be released 2009 promises to be an exciting year for Converge.___________________________________________________ __________________
