My name is Nicholas Bursh and I am 20 years old. I have autism, but I am very artistic and a very fun person to be around. I enjoy watching movies, listening to classical music, and drawing.
Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that typically lasts throughout a person's lifetime. It is part of a group of disorders known as autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Today, 1 in 150 individuals is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined. It occurs in all racial, ethnic, and social groups and is four times more likely to strike boys than girls. Autism impairs a person's ability to communicate and relate to others. It is also associated with rigid routines and repetitive behaviors, such as obsessively arranging objects or following very specific routines. Symptoms can range from very mild to quite severe.
The point of this site is to spread the word about this disorder & the talents that these people possess. Since I am unable to do the actions necessary to upkeep this page, my sisters are in full control of this page and perform all of the maintenance. Please enjoy the art.
All of my drawings are free hand. Everything is from memory. (If you can get close enough to the pictures you can see that they are all done in pen...no mistakes).
