About Me

Unpublished writer. Only started writing in 2007, so still in the learning process. Began in a strange way which if you have read Stephen King's 'Duma Key' you will kind of understand what i mean. Travis Little say hello to Edgar Freemantle. By writing i like to take the reader to an unknown place and for a while open their mind to enable them to see a world different to the one that is perceived as normal. I write ghost/fantasy/horror stories generally with a twist at the end. Most of my characters have had a tough time and get themselves into dark situations. The bravest people though, don't always know the strength they have inside them and i like to use those people in my work. Remember it's always darkest before the dawn. I like isolated places, lonely windswept places, ruined houses and castles. I fully appreciate the spiritual lift that places can give you. Just open yourself up and feel it. Born and raised in Cheshire, i have a keen interest in ghosts. During my childhood i spent time in a haunted house which i beleive triggered off my interest.I love legends and folklore, mostly about Britain and Ireland. Beleive that science is too quick to dismiss things and dislike the term ' there is a perfectly normal explanation'. The spirit world exists so close to our own yet we are generally blind to it in our daily lives. Have you ever driven along a country lane at night with the heat on and your favourite music playing? Well pull over and turn off the lights and engine and step out into the darkness and listen. You have a different view by the time you get back in the car. There is a 'reading circle' who kindly read my work, they are a small but dedicated band who i really treasure. If you are just dropping by for the first time, thankyou for calling in and taking the time to read this. If you have been here before, please continue and let's see where the journey takes us.
