Styles vary from rhythmic noise to minimal, ambient and broken beats. Besides Ant-Zen one of the most known and important labels in the german electronic scene. Run by Udo Wiessmann, leading member of Winterkälte, one of the main acts on Hands.
Hands Productions holds an annual festival called Forms of Hands where artists on the label are performing live. Also, they release a compilation CD under the same name with songs recorded by those artists as well as another annual compilation showcasing three new tracks from different artists.
Formerly based in Fürth, Bavaria, the label now residents in Dortmund, Ruhr.
