Great attendance last year and I only expect more from the vendors and the new ideas allowed by the new location; Having a quiet room. This year it will be inforced a little tighter. Quiet for a reason. You still have the larger room to sell electric amps and guitars!
The show will be at the Lents Masonic Lodge again this year!
We are happy to announce that we have secured the Lents Masonic Lodge for this years show JUNE 7th 2009.
Take the Foster Rd. exit off of I-205 and head west to 92nd and turn going north.
We'll have plenty of vendors, as we did last year. We hope to encourage some amp company's to come to this years show also. If you are a boutique amp builder. Or builder of anything musical then you will want to be at this show. I'll see you all there.
New gear, old gear, vintage gear, affordable gear, expensive gear, parts and more. You will find something at the ("Third Annual Portland Guitar Show & Swapmeet" 2009) Parts for vintage guitars and amps are always welcome. These have been really sought after in the last few years. If you have vintage parts for Popular Vintage gear then you will want to bring it, as a vendor or an attendee. Very Hot Items! Bring in your vintage parts and pedals to sell to the vendors. They love to buy and make good trades too.
As with most all other guitar shows out there we also encourage you bring in gear you want to sell. Not a way around renting a vendor space, but a way for you to bring in a couple of items that you know that the vendors want to take a look and and buy from you. This will give you an opportunity to trade or just to get some extra cash. Then purchase some other items you want at the show. We will be checking in and out the gear you bring. So only bring in a couple of items/guitars/effects/amps, ect. Bring in all the parts and effects you want to sell.
"Make sure you bring it all, the good, the bad, & the ugly. Vendors are always looking for gear to buy. Please bring what you have, even broken guitars, amps, and other musical instruments and gear like speakers as there will be people there who want to find projects to fix and re-sell, as well as others who just want to find the "Parts" .
A few show give aways are planned. So together with your help, participation, attendance and word of mouth,
we will make this years 2009 Portland Guitar Show, the best ever

{{{{{{{{VENDORS }}}}}}}}On June 7th, 2009, The"THIRD" annual Portland Guitar Show & Swapmeet will take place. The show is booked at Lents Masonic Lodge in Portland Oregon. With the new location we have a better way of controlling the volume of the electric amps that some of us really like to turn up a little to sell a guitar, amp or effect.
*WE HAVE HAD TWO GREAT SHOWS. THE MAJORITY OF THE VENDORS HAVE BEEN GREAT ALSO. Please have respect for others and the show. Please have realistic expectations on selling prices of your merch. Patrons are there for a deal. Even unrealistic cheap deals.
Please don't be dissapointed in that. Make some deals... everybody will feel a lot better at the end of the day.
Be sure to mention which room you want to be in, quiet or normal volume, when securing your booth. We do have limited space, so contact us early so you get in the room you want. Last year was sold out.The address of the Lents Masonic Lodge is 5881 SE. 92nd Ave. Portland Oregon 97266
(just miles south east, city of Portland, Oregon).
