About Me

Yoga for the Voice is a unique technique for training the human vocal instrument.
This training consists of four types of vocal exercises, which will enable you to sing and speak in a healthy, fun and beautiful manner. Yoga for the Voice gives your voice a complete vocal tune-up!
Here is a synopsis of the four segments of Yoga for the Voice:
1. Yoga breathing exercises - ancient yogic breathing techniques to give you the maximum benefits with a prescribed minimum of effort.
2. Sinus Tone Production exercises - you will learn that the very seed of vocal tone is placed in the sinus cavities in the head - NOT in your throat!
3. Full-body vocalises - you will integrate the first two exercises such that you can really feel where in your body each note is produced. Yes - EACH note in your range is essentially its OWN register!
4. Applying all three of the previous exercises to your particular vocal needs - if you are a singer, we shall develop your singing repertoire for performance and enjoyment. For actors, speakers, clergymen and others, we shall develop your speaking abilities to their utmost extent.
