The members of Bosworth were drawn together in 2002, driven by their collective desire to make Rock music relevant again. Inspired by bands like The Smiths, Pixies, Gang of Four, Joy Division, Wire, Television, and The Clash; Bosworth set out to bridge the gap between vintage post punk music with and modern punk. Bosworth is best known for their dynamic live shows and for their well crafted post punk songs.Bass player Kevin Roth and guitar/keyboard player Brian Whitacre teamed up to play in several bands before finally teaming up with Drummer Marcus “The Animal†Garabrandt and Guitar player Abram Jude. The band toured for a while as an instrumental post punk band before finally completing the lineup by adding lead singer Brenna Lee Roth.
