About Me

Here are my Career Personality test results:My career personality type is ISTJ "That means that based on the standard measure of personality traits, I have a quiet determination and sharp mind — I'm very focused and buckle down when it comes to work. I am the type of person one looks to in a crisis. While others may provide emotional support in a situation, your clear and logical thinking allows you to solve the problem at hand.I am adaptable and can work independently or on a team. I am a careful thinker and get all the details before making any decisions. I don't jump to conclusions and stick with the facts provided. In other words, I'm the go-to person for the real story, not the spin or gossip. While others may view me as a bit stubborn at times, they begrudgingly respect my ethics and straightforward approach. The reason employers and recruiters might be on the lookout for me is that only about 7% of the U.S. population shares the unique characteristics of my job personality type. Research shows that businesses succeed when employers create a good balance of personality types in the office. And since only 7% of the U.S. population shares my type, that means employers are looking for me."Take your own career personality test @http://web.tickle.com/tests/classiccareer/?test=classiccare erogt

My Interests

My interests include but are not limited to: playing and watching tennis, playing racquetball, traveling within the US and outside of the US, and eating out, particularly at Asian restaurants. Did I mention travel. I love traveling, and have lived in Japan, visited many Asian and European countries, and hope to visit more in the future. I also enjoy watching some TV, going to movies, reading, staying in shape, spending time with friends, listening to music, laughing, dancing, and educating myself.

I'd like to meet:

The ideal, but not necessary, type of people that I would be interested in meeting would be people who have some similar interests in activity, music, personality, or scene to me. I tend to be attracted to non-blonde individuals, particularly those who have darker brown hair and are slender/average build in all ways. I'm not interested in hook ups... or sex crazed people. Saying that though I do not expect or anticipate being on Myspace in order to find someone for a relationship, because I think it is important to get along as friends before any relationship can go beyond or last past that.

Music:

I have a background of interest in alternative music, punk, industrial, gothic, and indie pop. I listen to the radio at times, and although I don't buy pop music or pop rock bands, I can enjoy some songs. If I go dancing, I can dance to anything with a good beat. Bands/artists that I have bought or listened to lately include: Franz Ferdinand, the Stills, the Strokes, the Pixies (and all extended family bands including the Breeders), Coldplay, the Faint, Interpol, Pulp, Lush, the Cranberries, Siouxsie and the Banshees/the Creatures, Bloc Party, the Killers, Keane, Moving Units, Blonde Redhead, the Concretes, She wants revenge, the Cribs, We are Scientists, Editors, and Snow Patrol.

Movies:

I love movies, although I am not the type to buy them and watch them over and over. I try to catch movies that interest me while they are in the theatres. Listing all the movies that I have liked would be long and hard on the mind, but I do have to say that I have kept all the ticket stubs of the movies that I enjoyed.

Television:

Oh it sux when the shows I like retire. Bye Six Feet Under. Shows I enjoy, when I have the time to watch them, include Prison Break, Lost, Medium, and Desparate Housewives. I also tend to follow some reality shows like Survivor, Amazing Race, and Intervention. Shows I loved while they were on, and reruns I still catch at times include Sex and the City, Will and Grace, and X-files. I can and do watch tennis anyday. New shows I'm giving a chance to include Brothers and Sisters and 6 degrees.

Heroes:

These groups are my heroes! Make your voice heard! Take action!Check out the following websites if you want to take action for our environment, animals, democracy, and human rights. I am so excited to visit my friends Nick and Anna, and go to the show Interpol. Although I shouldn't jinx myself, I still have to buy the tix tomorrow morning. Cross your fingers.
