Andrea Mocha was born in London and raised by Jamaican mother Radiographer and Jamaican/Cuban Reggae musician father.
Growing up and seeing her father produce, perform and write music it was only a matter of time until the beat kicked in.1997 Andrea Mocha then just Andrea signed a management deal, allowing her to meet EMI A&R executives and other industry insiders life was then deemed to be bringing her to a better place. In between studying and writing music Andrea knew only hard work and luck could bring her into the industry she wanted.Not long after Andrea's father passed away forcing Andrea to deal with obstacles that were not expected. Battling choices and expectations Andrea withdrew away from all music to return later on her own terms.2005 Andrea (Andrea Mocha) reinvented herself teaming up with Levan a producer based in East London. Her style soon was discovered catchy quirky lyrics catapulted Andrea mocha into the House scene. Performing at such venues as 'Ten Rooms' West London and scheduled dates at Industry bar EC1.'Keep Me Sweet' written and sung by Andrea Mocha produced and arranged by Levan gave rise to a sound Andrea Mocha belonged to. Signed by Diamond House Records and featured on Cafe' Solaire 9 it became a underground track to be reckoned with. Still on sale online and in selective shops. Trying to express her emotions 'Keep Me Sweet' was inspired by her love for her partner and team member in music.A few appearances later 'Dance To The Beat' was again written by Andrea Mocha and signed by MEG in California this track showed variety in her writing and style most recently featured on Smallville series 8 episode 3 2008.Never one to conform and never one to send out bad messages all Andrea Mocha wants to achieve is good music and variety.The future has just stepped up for the London born artist. Born in the 80's the fresh sounds of pop and reggae and rnb prooved to be a good cocktail for inspiration. Since 2005 Andrea Mocha moved to West London as a permanent base, built a home based studio and has been collaborating on the underground scene and developing writing styles and sounds.Andrea Mocha is the artist Mochadoll is the evolution.Not just a singer Mochadoll is also an actress in pursuit of roles and a presenter plus PA/fashion designer.
