7Cities.com is getting a facelift and and a new name on Monday, October 22.
The new site, called Metromix - Hampton Roads, will have a cleaner design to help you navigate through all of our groovy features about Hampton Road's nightlife, restaurants, bars, clubs and music, while still offering all the features you know and love.
But, it's not all about looking pretty. We've also improved our functionality, so you'll have an easier time using the site.
The following improvements await:
*Enhanced search. You can search the entire site, or you can break it down by categories including neighborhood, price range, type of food, entertainment venue, music genre, bar style and more.
*Interactive calendar so you can plan what to do today, tomorrow, next week or even next month if you wish. We've got all the events, specials and Hampton Roads' happenings in one place so you'll never be left out of the fun.
*Interactive maps on all the venues and event pages so you know exactly how to get to your hot spot of choice and how to find cool places nearby.
*Even more restaurants, bars, and clubs that have been scouted and reviewed. Since there are thousands of them, we've also given our "Metromix pick" stamp of approval to a select few, to help you choose which to check out.
*The ability for you to share your own photos, comments and ratings all over the site.
Don't worry, we will still be out there in the streets, local clubs, & special events.
