About Me

Hiyah, Im Garrett. This is almost sadly my second myspace I never got around to before. Simply, I'm an artist- I swear behind this page. I love art and I've been drawing since I could make my hand hold a pencil. I appreciate anything that is expressive, especially when its resetting people's ideas of art's limits, something already limitless, like Salvador Dali did. So the saying goes, "Art is something not legitimately married, you rape it". I also like to write although its not one of my natural talents.
Life has always been interesting. There are almost too many things to consider, so I'd rather summarize very briefly. A lot happened, I've been almost everything a kid can imaginely be, I've done stuff, I was with someone for only almost a year and that alone made a few important changes within my family life, I tried to know 'everything', and I looked at the world too severely. Nowadays, I'm still not completely careless, but rather overwhelmed with artwork, chasing after an imaginary girl, appropriately sarcastic, sometimes nostalgic, and just want to enjoy everything I'm given despite what is happening around me. Easily enough life is what you make it. The world is yours to take, supposedly.
Like everyone I have friends. Hanging out with them have made some pretty great times, and also some I put my head down over. Whether we get along or not, agreeing or arguing, it doesn't affect me from sleeping over their house for 3-5 days consecutively and coming to a truths. Also, I occasionally go to shows whenever a good band is playing, or to obnoxiously gallivant about downtown.
I enjoy music, preferably meaningful stuff. Apparently I'm one of those few people, the 'creative' people, who believe the lyrics and expressive qualities of a song are half of the song itself, rather than just how it sounds.
Other than that and art, I used to be into theatre as well as some other activities. They were all was fun, but I decided to focus more on my drawing and painting. I also used to aggressive inline and skateboard, but now I freerun (parkour). It's not very well known or appreciated yet, but I love it. Along those lines of discipline, and madness, I took 6 years of martial arts with capoeira and ninjutsu as of now. Finally, to top off this paragraph all about my great accomplishments, I've also drummed for 8 years. Thats it.
...I think thats enough for a myspace.
Oh, if you look like her, I will really like you.
