A few years back a group of guys started playing heavy rock riffs in the basement of a kindergarten.. that was 2003. Manson and Jacek together with Domino and Burak decided to take the fooling around further and started a search for a good vocalist. The idea was always that every member bring to the table their own personal approach to music. End 2003 Lucas found an add in the local store and showed up for practice with a Washburn acoustic. Played a Zakk Wylde song and that was it. A few improvs were enough. The band was ready.. temporary name: Merry Pop Ins. Why? Well the kindergarten cellar has a lot to do with it, we still play there and it seemed so far fetched for a rock band it was fitting for the kind of sounds we were trying to play: foreign but familiar, experienced but fun to listen to. Anyway the name stuck with us so it is not temporary anymore! After the first demo (5 songs) we had quie a few re-shuffles in the band. Domino left for new ventures and Kuba joined to give the band a rougher and much more technical twist that pushed us in the right way. We had 6 (six!!!!) bass players in 2 years finally ending with Ewka, a great add to the band and an approach we were waiting for. He nailed the lows to the ground with heavy nails! So here we are, the songs are a blend of compositions of everyone in the band. Usually Kuba, Manson or Lucas bring a riff or two and we jam till we get shivers or get in the vibe.
One song from the 1st and 2 songs from the second demo songs are here for u to listen to. We're still not too thrilled with the final sound but we're getting closer! Anyway we had a no.1 on a local radio station for a few weeks and won a National Rock'n Roll festival in 2006. We're finalizing new material and polishing the sound so stick around for more cool songs!! Meanwhile let us know what u think!!
We’re on this planet to for a reason. Make the best of your time!!
