Formed in late 2007, Soul Carnage is a heavy/thrash metal band from the heart of Scarborough. New school meant new oppertunities for co-founder Greg Bortkiewicz to recruit people for his and Andrew D'Agostini's (x-drummer) metal project, which at the time was unnamed. After a few weeks in school, the two had learned that James Pasierbski (x-Midnight Illusion) was looking for a band, and it branched off from there. Recruiting James led to arrival of Kyle Bennett (x-Midnight Illusion). At this point, due to commitment issues, Andrew had left the band, leaving James, Greg and Kyle without a drummer, and still searching for a singer. After learning that Anthony Ardizzi (current drummer) had played drums, and shared a great number of favoured bands, he was invited to join the three. After a jam, the three had known that Anthony had the balls to join this madness, and the three became four. Chris Greenaway was known around the high school the four are from as a singer that has been in many bands. He was asked if he was willing to audition for the band, which at this point was dubbed Soul Carnage, by Kyle Bennett and Greg Bortkiewicz, Chris accepted and audition. However, after a few weeks, Chris decided that it just wasn't working for him, so he quit. After intense searching, and learning the fact that shows were booked for Soul Carnage, the four had auditioned Mike Vieira, who was looking for a commited band. After the audition, Kyle, Greg, James and Anthony had a minor debate wether to give Mike the green light to hop aboard the train of Soul Carnage, and it ended with the enrollement of their new and current singer, Mike Vieira. After the band was completed once again, producer Mark (aka The Master) had brought all of his studio equipement to begin the production of Soul Carnage's first demo. More will be added as the band progresses, thank you for reading, and keep it METAL!
