About Me

TIME IS MONEY..IN 09...I offer standard packages for individuals, couples, and bands. There are also special rates for students, but TFCD shoots are not available.Rate information available for those interested in scheduling a shoot.Contact: Rob Meggett, [email protected] qualify if you are attempting to be a working, professional model before we plan your shoot. You have to stop asking me "How much do you pay?" I will always answer, " I am Fulltime Photographer, Thats Looking For Models To Pay Me"You have to stop asking me "Are you gay, bi, hetero?" I will always answer, "I'm professional" - this is and should always be your main concern for working with ANYone. If you are worried about people's sexualities, however, rethink what it means to be diverse in a field of art & entertainment.Work is work. If you cannot handle being photographed with the possibility of your image being used by the company whose product you modeled or a magazine wanting to provide you a working résumé credit as an inside feature or cover shot, do not pose for the image nor agree that it may be used as such.Make your own decisions. If you have to check with your sister or boyfriend or priest about taking photos and/or using your photos in print/online publications, do not allow yourself to be photographed for future work endeavors. You have to stop "shooting overkill." Never shoot just to shoot. It is better to have a lot of time distance between good shoots than a fury of shoots that reflect no growth or development in your portfolio. The next time you have a "photoshoot" in a hotel room ask yourself if you should be more selective about how you update your portfolio.Reading is fundamental. You have to go beyond looking at someone's images before deciding to work with them. If all you do is look at a pretty picture when making your decision, don't be surprised you never read that statement, or looked at that website, or saw that video clip. We all have to inform ourselves and avoid ignorance.Reading can be deceiving. If you read that someone has been published in magazines, shot ad campaigns, photographed celebrities but they have no tears or other proof of these claims . . . you get the picture (no pun intended).Money matters. If what you shoot is determined by how much you get paid, you are going to have a lot of money and nothing in your portfolio to show for it.Nudes. Should you do nudes? You should do nude photography with a qualified photographer who will actually take nude photographs of you and not naked pictures - there's a big difference. Do no let the offer of money allow that line to blur. If someone asks you to do naked photos for them, that's a completely different aesthetic for you to think about, although I don't know many bold enough to ask such a question. The R-words. Who you work with Reflects on your Reputation and level of Respect for this field. One person's Reward is another person's Rejection.Community. Models talk. Photographers talk. Makeup Artists, Designers, Agents, Stylists, Creative Directors, and many more talk, as well. Hopefully one day we'll start talking TO each other more and not so much ABOUT each other. But there should be no surprise for either of these situations. If you are being talked about or talked to ... you know why.Trust No One. Funny how a catchy phrase from a 90s movie about aliens, government conspiracy, and paranoia applies so well to all of us weirdos. Make your own decisions, trust your own judgements, and when you are ready to place blame just take a look in the mirror. We are only human.*** People ask, "How do you know if someone is legitimate?"Investigate: Talk to other models the photographer has worked with, look into all websites associated with the photographer, and check to see when the last image was uploaded (if it's been a long time, that could be a sign). If there are no model names or links referenced on the photographer's profile or in her/his portfolio, that could be a sign, as well - just ask.Advice and opinions are free. Making your own judgement takes a little brain power - use it.
