You can't get any gigs playing Blues...no one wants to hear it...the booking agents (ie: bartenders/club owners/Blues Society Directors) won't book you cause you can't fill the floor with dancers and they won't sell enough liquor!"Dyrewolfe evolved out of a desire to present Blues Music to the club and concert circuit on the Central Coast of California in the early 1990s. Out of the ashes of a great Blues-Garage Band in 1982-84 called "Blues Collar Workers" and the classic rock outfit called "Positive Touch" came "Dyrewolfe."Fronted by lead vocalist Ferne Jeffries, the daughter of Jazz Legend "Herb Jeffries" along with founding members EDDIE FRAWLEY Jr. and LEW "Blue Lew" CAMPBELL sharing guitar duties, Dyrewolfe filled clubs and bars, opened Blues Festivals and SAN LUIS OBISPO BLUES SOCIETY CONCERTS for years during the 1990s.The THUNDER behind the always solid rhythm section was provided by the multi-talented, deep pocket grooves of JON "Johnny Thunder' DITTMAN for many many years on DRUMS, along with the Bass Guitarists Dan Hannum, Wil Andserson, and Romi West, also Herb Jeffries' daughter.More BIO to come, but if that ain't 'nuf to interest you, spin a few of the trax!!"...booked....I gotta go....!"BlueLew~
