About Me

Born April 25, 1988, Donovan Lamar Booker White was brought to this world at Memorial Hospital. Blessed by being raised by his Father and Mother. Growing up in the city of East Saint Louis,Il, there where no rap music allowed in the house. He actually had to listen to what his parents would listen to. Only way he would listen to Hip Hop and Rap is when his brother would have it in his headphones. He began listening to artist such as the Master P, Silkk Tha Shocker, C- Murder, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, NWA, Snoop Dogg and Bone Thugs N Harmony. At age seven, He and his brother would freestyle in their room for fun. The First time he discovered rhyming is when his two older brothers would freestyle. In middle school when came to rapping he would go a little fast and go a little slow which they called switching styles. His friend would always call him Big D everytime he sees him. And til this day, he took it and ran with it. In 2006, a friend of his whos' stag name is Postage boy had started a group called the Gutta Boyz. But Big D was so in to finishing his album that he never had time to work with them. So he was the first to leave the group to finish his album. Big D has been in numerous of street battles and been dissing many people who ever talked about them. Big D says he has gotten older and wiser and he is focusing on his grind and he is not tripping about the past. Big D is now working on the Lyrical Assassin which will release this summer. And will give everybody something they relate to. He also says that he is looking up to the sky and thanking God that he is still here and focusing on his career and other things in the future.
