Samantha Williams is from Cynwyd, a small village near Bala, North Wales. Like most Welsh children, she would compete in many Elsteddfodau; at the age of 9 she became successful and won her first singing competition and was on tv for the first time, this was a definite moment that singing was her dream.At the age of 10 one of her dreams came true, and she had the most fantastic experience, which was to sing with Bryan May from Queen. From then on she has won several awards at many contests, including The Most Promising Singer at The National Elsteddtod. For many years Samantha has participated in concerts, throughout Wales and England, and has gained experience working in television and radio, as well as recording, musical theatre, opera and classical music.Samantha trained her voice and musical skills at a very early age, and went on to study at the Welsh College of Music and Drama. She also has a great passion for the piano, as well as songwriting.For something different, she joined the pop-opera girl band MILAN4, based in Plymouth, England, with whom she toured the UK with Irish singer Peter Corry and produced a cd.Today she is aiming for a solo career, as well as having a duo (Sam & Grace).
