------------------------
Hello, I am Doug Peters.
I am 21 years old, and currently living in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since I was in 10th grade (let's see, how old would I be then, maybe 14/15?) I have been 100% all about music. I love music so much and the lame local bands in the area that I decided that I wanted to be a concert promoter. I originally went by the name Further Falling, had a good run, and then had stoppage 1. Some time passed, I tried other things, and then I wanted to do music again. So began United Force Promotion. UFP was a joint venture between myself and great friend Dan Auer. Unfortunately, due to some unfortunate situations that came up and ruined music for me, and with Dan beginning his own personal portfolio, UFP died out.
That was up to November of 2006. Fast forward an entire 2007 and we are here today. I always hated how things ended, and felt that I wasn't ready to give up something I love doing so much, so let's begin venture 3 - IamDougPeters. I know, when you see this, you probably question the name, or why I was foolish enough to make this. Well....I will tell you. I won't lie, the music business is not a pleasant business overall. There are people that will tear your soul apart in a second, and ruin what music should be about. Sadly enough, that was me for awhile...until now. What I want to do is make this fun again, to do things MY way. Not for someone else, not listening to someone else tell me what to do, I'm doing this my way. I want the great times, people going to shows for the music, the fun times, and the experience. I can't begin to name off how many great people are out there touring the roads everyday, just to play for you instead of living the "normal" lifestyle. They are doing what they love, and so am I. I thank you for visiting this page, for maybe attending a show, for maybe listening to a band you never heard, and for maybe sharing something that I hope will become as important to you as it is to me.
