About Me

"My Photography Biography"I have been fascinated with all aspects of photography from as young as I can remember; having a camera in my hand has always put a smile on my face. My first camera was very basic, and I got it at a garage sale for less than five dollars. When I entered high school, I enrolled in black & white photography for all four years, where I gained a better understanding for the field. From there my passion grew, and as a graduation present I got a Vivitar v4000. This camera gave me a feel for the manual process and taught me how to use aperture rings. Just when I started to excel with that camera, then the digital age was becoming more popular. I still use my Vivitar from time to time but I have taken a liking to the convenience of memory cards and being able to upload my photographs to my computer with my digital Kodak EasyShare P850. It goes with me everywhere, because you never know when a photographic opportunity may arise! I am slowly trying to establish myself and my work on the internet; My husband and I designed my web site (www.heathersphotogarden.com) where you can contact me. I am excited to share my passion with other photographers and the world! www.heathersphotogarden.com<a
