Dalton Poff is the founder of BULLET . The band originated in 1994 and was quickly picked up by Stables, now Take 20 in Cherry Valley, IL to be the house band. Since then, BULLET has been rocking the club every Saturday and Sunday night. Dalton has been playing for over twenty years with local bands like "The Few", "Asterik", "The Firebillies" and "The Firebirds". His high melodic voice and ability to make a Les Paul sing give a solid foundation to the appeal of BULLET. His high-energy show and 1-2-3 delivery spills over to the crowd and soon they are involved in the enthusiastic fun.
Jon Edwards joined BULLET in late 2008. Jon brings 43 years of diverse music experience to Bullet that includes keyboard, vocals, harmony and a solid bass groove. Jon played with Poff in "Asterik", "The Few" and "The Firebirds". Jon was the house bass player at the well known blues club "Silver Moon", located in Darien, WI . He also played the Chicago circuit with Glen Davis and "The Blues Commission"; keyboards with "Moonlight Jazz Orchestra"; bass and vocals with the the Christian band "Jinger", and voted "Best of Rockford". Jon performed twice with "Jinger" at "On the Waterfront" in Rockford. Jon recently released a CD with the Christian group, "AweStruck". All praise to the Creator of music!
Mitch Whittington joined BULLET in 2004 with 34 years experience in the music biz. His former bands include Sudden Impact, The Edge, Acme Demolition, Mule Skinners, Split Decision and Secret Remedy. He's played clubs such as Bourbon Street, L.T.'s and on the Waterfront. He cut a album with Sudden Impact, and also a full-page write up in Ram Magazine about The Edge was made.
Two years in a row, on April 19th, 2001 and April 18th, 2002, BULLET was honored with the RAMI Award for the "Best Classic Rock Band" in the Rockford, Illinois area. Because of their combined twenty-plus years of experience, BULLET delivers all of the energy and talent that their fans truly deserve. ..
