Born in 20/07/66, surrounded by his father Humberto, an Italian singer and doublebass player, who was playing with Pino Latuca (music director of France TV), Franco Colasuonno developed his love for music. He enjoyed playing and experimenting all kind of instruments such as guitar, bass, keyboards and percussions, having a knack for creating music since he was a child. He studied the foundations of drums techniques with Ivano Latuca (drummer of France TV/ Mouline Rouge) and Michele Vurchio (drummer, Italy). He moved to Verona (Italy), where he attend to the Francesco Casale' school and performed in different clubs. Then he moved to Turin (Italy) and his evolution has been astonishing since then because he incorporated different styles such as jazz ,Pop, Rock, Funk, Latin, etc., to his performances. When he was 22 years old, he moved to Marbella (Spain), where he kept on perfoming on festivals and concerts all around the country leading his own groups or accompanying some of the finest Jazz artists in Spain and UK, such as: ALAN SKIDMORE, PERICO SAMBEAT,MARTIN SPEAKE, ART THEMEN, KIKE PERDOMO, DAVID LENKER, FRANCIS POSE’, ARTURO SERRA, CARLOS PINO, MARCELO SANZ, amongst others., and he was playing drums in one of the " Jazz Author " CD compilation for the best Jazz composers and players in Spain recording a Rafael Arreciado composition. Meanwhile, Franco cultivated his serious passion for composing, producing and engineering music into the recording studio environment and this make him moved to London . Finally, he soon became the FORMULA ONE COMPOSER, and since then he never stopped working and specializing in composing, engineering and producing music for TV and film productions. Contracted as a composer/producer/engineer by Formula One Management in London, Franco showed an incredible versatility, commitment, and creativity during his time with the company.
