Paranormal Investigators of North Carolina

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)We are the Paranormal Investigators of North Carolina... aka PINC.

Mission Statement:
PINC goes out to disprove claims of hauntings using scientific equipment to further our understanding of the paranormal realm.
PINC is a small paranormal investigation team based out of Rockingham County. The group was formed in January of 2008 and has investigated several locations in the area. PINC’s most notable investigation took place at Aycock Auditorium in Greensboro, NC. The group has also investigated an ex-funeral home in Rockingham County, not to mention all of the training that took place by conducting mock investigations. The group is made up of investigators from both Rockingham and Guilford County. PINC has also worked with The Winston-Salem Paranormal Society.
The group goes about an investigation with the mindset that a location is not haunted. After the investigation, if any evidence is found, a decision will be made whether or not there is any paranormal activity to worry about. PINC takes a scientific approach when it comes to investigating; the group uses different forms of equipment to gather evidence. Digital camcorders, digital/35mm cameras, digital thermometers (pick up temperature fluctuations), EMF detectors (pick up electro magnetic fields), K2 meters (another version of the EMF detector) and dowsing rods (a more primitive version of an EMF detector) are used to document anything that happens on an investigation. PINC also tries to debunk claims of the paranormal (Ex: If the owner claims that he or she has taken a picture of an “orb”, the group would then go back and try to recreate the events and circumstance in which the photo was taken. If the picture can be recreated in any way, the “orb” is no longer real evidence.). Generally, the group spends the night at the location, but is more than willing to work with any restrictions. There is no charge for PINC’s services (how can you charge for something that isn’t even proven yet?). The group has liability forms ready upon request of the client.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Ghosts and the TAPS team.
Wish List:
- EMF Detector- measures electromagentic waves, which can cause nausea, the feeling of being watched, or even hallucinations.
-Thermal Imaging Camera- allows you to see the heat signature of inanimate objects, or paranormal entities.
- Digital Thermometer- takes a reading of the temperature of the surrounding area, which is very helpful with finding and disproving cold spots.
-Ghosts- but that goes without saying.
