Band Members: Colin - Guitars (and the magic pedal board!)
Lisa - Vocals
For bookings and info e-mail us: [email protected]
Influences: Colin's cut down and edited list includes:
Ed Alleyne-Johnson (His 'Purple Electric Violin Concerto' introduced me to the possibilities of looping back in '92. I've been trying to perfect it ever since!)
John Martyn (What he did in the 70s with a tape echo is mindblowing).
Howie Day (The young master of the one man band looping technique).
Kate Bush (Simply the greatest female singer/songwriter ever).
Sigur Ros (Some of the most beautiful and moving music ever recorded).
David Gilmour (Perfect phrasing, great tone).
Porcupine Tree (Probably the best UK band around).
Lisa's brief list of influences includes:
Muse (After seeing them perform, I can only aspire to be that good live), KT Tunstall (Beautiful songs and clever 'unplugged' arrangements), Foo Fighters (They really know how to put on a show... wonder if Colin would approve of lasers!?), Moloko (Great melodies) and No Doubt (Their early stuff is so energetic -brilliant!).

Here's a review by Chris at The Terrace Bar (Picture House Stratford) of our set earlier this year
Colisa...This covers duo did some really cool stuff new and old making them another universally appealing act, they were spot-on with all there songs, both vocally and guitar wise, the vocals where clear soft and accurate and the guitar was a joy to listen to with some great tricks up his sleeve to reinvent classic songs in there tone...
James of the Lazy Lizards describes us below...
"Colisa specialize in taking songs you thought you knew and inverting them in a thrilling fashion with simple vocals, guitar and a little magic."
