WEATHERLIGHT

Established in early 2008, Weatherlight was an emerging original band in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. As a new band they had caught many off guard, bringing a blend of original rock, folk-rock, and blues songs which, for their relatively brief run, left an impression with each audience they played for. Each member of the band brought their own style and sound into the band creating a truly unique, original sound. Weatherlight consisted of Matt Brown on the microphone and rhythm guitar, hammering out his own brand of catchy, rhythm delight, Matt Plein on the lead guitar, shredding like a mad man creating killer leads, Mike Thole on the bass guitar, playing smooth-tastic, flowing bass lines, and James Puzic, Weatherlight's finishing touch, on the drums, hammering out magnetic drum lines.
Weatherlight’s music created a high that even your average drug-free Joe wanted a hit of. They brought meaningful lyrics, catchy chorus lines, and great hooks to the Twin Cities music scene. This was a great addition to the local line-up in the Twin Cities. The sudden dispersion of one of Weatherlight's beloved members left their future in doubt, but there are thoughts and ideas floating about... regarding a continuance of sorts, so don't believe for a minute that Weatherlight is gone for good!
