I have a knack of finding something funny in just about any situation, and thoroughy enjoy pushing, but not breaking, the boundaries of what's considered appropriate, normal or well-adjusted. I'm a musician, artist, designer, university tutor and occasional bum (with a brain in there, somewhere...) with a distinct physical similarity to good ol' Jeebus, and a friggen kick-ass, splendidly diverse group o' mates ranging from bogans to musos to artists to engineers to whatever.
Say hi!
.
(More to come very soon; please watch this space!)
.
In 2005 I graduated from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, as the top graphic design stduent. 2006 saw me continue these study and complete a First Class Honours degree in Graphic Design entitled: Establishing the case for design-driven inquiry into cross-modal association, which I am endeavouring to upload at some point (once again, watch this space!).
I'm currently spending my professional time as a lecturer and tutor at Curtin, but I'm always keen to take on freelance work, so if you are in need of some high quality graphic design at a reasonable price, drop me a line.

I'm currently active with the very fine 'happy little commune' Will Stoker and the Embers .
Since (re)forming in June 2007 after a long stint as a solo act in Melbourne, Will Stoker and his band of merry Embers have been grand finalists in the Next Big Thing 2007 and winners of the National Campus Bands Competition 2007, the largest band competition in the southern hemisphere that has launched the career of bands such as Jebediah and Eskimoe Joe. We've recently played the Big Day Out 2008, the West Coast Blues and Roots festival and In The Pines, and are currently gearing up to release "Five Beds For Bitsy" EP before jaunting off to Melbourne again for a few shows.

Will Stoker and the Embers - Look Forward to Love
.
"Will prowls the stage, jumping onto the drums, into the crowd, belting the drums, playing the piano, shrieking randomly into the various mics. Riveting presence. Great songs, and the band are so tight. They play their part brilliantly... He's got it. He wants it. He's obsessed and he sells that obsession. He and the band have a thirst. Get on board." - Neil Wedd, Indie Initiative.
"...full of deranged circus-surf riffage and unbalanced blues-punk, [Will Stoker and the Embers] were the standout performers on the night, Will Stoker himself leading the way in one of the finest displays of showmanship ever witnessed at the venue." - Jaymz Clements, Beat Magazine.
"They were absolutely arresting performers and even though their music probably didn't lend itself to being polished, they did an incredibly good job, it sounded fantastic and you could see that the song writing naunce that went into each of the songs was quite breathtaking really... They were the most inspiring easily on the night, and they were the most exciting on stage and were passionate all around the room for the fans, for the judges even, I mean we were standing at the back of the room just gaping going, 'This is the finest thing I've ever seen.'" - Jaymz Clements, news.com.au

I've recently made a departure from my longstanding band, and best of friends, Pyromesh , with whom I had been sweating, breaking sticks and having a fricken ball.
They're a lovely alternative metal band who launched their debut album, Omnia, to a sell-out crowd at the Amplifier Bar in August of 2007 and are still going strong. Their music is receiving some very healthy national airplay and the CD is available in stores nationwide, just ask!
It was ridiculously sad to leave, but I know the lads are going to go from strength to strength. Stay tuned for some delectable surprises in 2009, and go and check them out while you're waiting!

All I can say at this stage is, don't hold your breath.
