Wolfgang Henn was born in Tyrol/Austria in the heart of the Alps in 1969. He started playing the violin at the age of 6 for 11 years. At 17 he started playing Bassguitar just for fun to join a Rock cover band and other bands the next couple of years including Pop, Rock and Heavy. In 1998 he decided to go into music more serious and started playing Upright bass, too. As a result he graduated from Bass School Munich in 1999, from Conservatory of Innsbruck (Departement of Jazz and Contemporary Music) in 2001 and in 2006 from classical Upright bass. During this time he collected lots of live and studio experience in different Bands and Projects including many various styles (Jazz, Fusion, Funk, Soul, R&B, Rock, Pop, Latin) and started teaching at state music school in 2000. In 2007 he moved to Los Angeles for half a year to attend BIT at Musicians Institute Hollywood. He also took lessons with Ric Fierabracci and had a live appearence at the world famous "Baked Potato".
