Band Members: 6 & 12-string guitars and my fingers.
Influences: My first infuences were early rock stuff such as The Stones, Beatles, Jimi, then I discovered bluegrass music and fell in love with the acoustic sound.
That led to ragtime guitar and any kind of fingerpicking stuff I could find. When I found Leo Kottke I fell in love with the 12-string, and what he was doing with the guitar! Rudy Harley, an obscure guitarist (who now has devoted himself to accordian) was also a huge influence and help with my playing. Others include Ry Cooder, Chet Atkins, Marcelle Dadi, Michael Hedges, Preston Reed, there are so many great players I have found on youtube also..the list continues to grow! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THIS IS A FUN VIDEO OF "THE DEATH OF DISCO DUCK" WRITTEN BY A GOOD FRIEND, RUDY HARLY. SEE WHAT YOU THINK OF THE QUACK COUNT!
