About Me

Besides Zelda, I'm into a wide variety of video games for all systems, and indeed video game series franchises, such as Metroid, Star Fox, and the Mario Brothers games. This video is about one Mario game in particular that everyone should know: Super Mario Bros. on the NES. *WARNING! Content contains various amounts of profanity; viewer discretion is advised.I live in the U.S. and was originally raised in New England. I began my creative writing when I wrote my first poem, entitled "Football Season is Gone." The exact date and year of its origin are unknown because I didn't keep a record of it on my computer, but I'm more than positive it was no more than five years ago. Unfortunately, it will never see the light of day because I have no plans on ever showing it to anyone due to how bad it is...not vulgarity bad, just bad as in poorly written. Since these beginnings, I've written several other forms of poetry, as well as collaborated with a buddy of mine on a book, which we started a little over a year ago. Besides that, I've laid the groundwork for at least two other solo projects that I'm still uncertain about, but hope to possibly change into something in the near future. I have a job I work weekends at as a server and am attending college for my fifth semester, which obviously deviates me from working on any of my books or poems. I started writing Zelda poems about two years ago when I wondered what it would be like to try and make a poem about a video game. I've always been a fan of the Legend of Zelda series, of which every game is an adventure full of puzzles, action, and fun. My first Zelda poem was entitled "Hero of Time," and it revolved around one of the latest Zelda adventures, "Twilight Princess." It's viewed through our famous hero's eyes, but it's more comical than serious. It was only five lines long (marking it as my shortest Zelda poem, excluding the little introduction I wrote) but it set the tone for what I wanted to accomplish with my little Zelda poetry. Lastly, I'm trying to write a poem about every Zelda game that has ever come out. Some of my poems are really long (five pages) and could be considered short stories, or narratives. Whatever you call them, I enjoy writing them, and hope I'll be able to do this with any other Zelda game that comes out. I'm still trying to catch up though. I have yet to write poems for "Twilight Princess" (I want to do another one so as to do the game justice), and "Phantom Hourglass," the latest installment which I have yet to play. Also, a new game, "Spirit Tracks," is on the horizon. Well, that's basically what I have to say about my written works. Hope you enjoy the page. Eventually, I'd like to start a website revolving around Zelda poetry. For now, I'll do what I can to bring die-hard Zelda fans together. Thanks for reading, and hope you're forever finding cool stuff pertaining to the legendary series known as The Legend of Zelda!
