Limerence

2006 - The Beginning
The band started with the name "Thy Beloved Cries" and playing something between the gothic rock and EBM genres. At this time, everything was just a project, many musicians participated in the first recordings and compositions.
During the end of 2006, some songs in this line had been concluded. But soon, misunderstandings among the former members, made the project untenable.
2007 - Changes
After pointing their compositions to something more like the gothic metal, drastic changes involving the composers ocurred. The project was abandoned for few months.
In the middle of this year, Diego Alfa Perez "Bagana" (Piano/Keyboards) started to write the new compositions. The first song concluded was called "Foreverland", Diego decided to show this material to other musicians and some of them felt great desire to work on it. Rafael Everton (Guitar/Backing Vocal) and Rafael Lima (Drums) became the first new members to work together with Diego, this unchained the project again, that gained a new breath.
The remaining months of the year 2007, was dedicated all for the compositions.
2008 - The Limerent Heart
The trio has created another two songs in the early days of 2008, "Once Frozen" and "Miracle". It was time to think about playing live and recording these songs, then in January, the former members decided to transform the project in a band and definitively independent of invited musicians.
Diego leaves his former band and begins to devote himself exclusively to Limerence. Name that exactly express what they want, thus still loading sadness inside of its letters... Limerence is instituted since january of 2008.
During this same year, some tests were performed to complete the sextet. Soon, Bruno Eric (Guitar), former member of the same band that Diego played and left do dedicate to Limerence, also decided to devote himself solely to their new friends.
2009 - Go Ahead Limerences!
Daniela (Bass/Cello) joins the band, bringing new and different compositions due to her criativity and dedication. Great rehearsals were conducted even with the Limerence as a quintet.
In june, after a lot of tests... Ellen Cristine (Vocal) becomes the lead singer of Limerence.
