Brian Hampton AKA Mayham was Born August 10, 1988 in Portland, Oregon. At a young age various artists from the West, East, South, and Midwest influenced him to do what he loves most. At age 12 He started making songs with his cousins but never recorded them. At the age of 13 he moved to Phoenix, AZ to continue school and basketball. After a few years when surfing the Internet for ways to produce music he found “Fruityloopsâ€; a small type production software for making beats. He mainly uses Fruityloops for production. In addition to producing music, in 06‘ he thought he would try his hand at rapping and Singing. This led to several collaborations with local artists as well as other online artists met through Soundclick forums. In the summer of 07’ Brian met up with Don Moroko with For My People Entertainment. Currently they have released six mixtapes which consists of some of the best of the west released on Datpiff. Currently Brian is attending the Conservatory of Arts and Sciences where he continues to further his education in recording and engineering.
