KRISTA IS THE NEW STAR ON THE BULGARIAN MUSIC SCENE!

The indisputable favorite of Maria Ilieva ’s record label “Stereo Room” has won the National competition for vocal artists in February2008, in a competition with 176 other semi-finalists.
Accepted in 1st place in the Pop and Jazz Singing Department of the State Academy of Music “Pancho Vladigerov”, Krista has earned the unprecedentedadmiration of some of the greatest authorities in the Bulgarian music industry, music critics and audience. She has won many awards from prestigious musicfestivals.
Born and grown up in a family of musicians, Krista started learning piano, solfeggio and violin at the age of 6, and later she developed her singing skills,graduating with excellence the Music school “Panayot Pipkov” in Pleven. There she studied the specifics of the authentic Bulgarian folk singing, knownworldwide as “the mystery of Bulgarian voices”.
Currently, Krista is working on her first solo album, which will be released by the end of 2009.
