Little World

About Me

Accidently launched in the summer of 2002 in Tecate, Baja California, using the leftover time of Donald Moore, Vern Woodhead & Garred Kluth, Littleworld quickly gained unnerving status in the great, shadowy netherworld of little-known bands of southern California and northern Baja. Sensing that something was definitely afoot, violinist Bryan Butler joined the band, soon to be followed by multi-instrumentalist Christopher Boyce. What a time that was!Alas, it was not to last. Vern, following his musician's instincts, which were gradually making their way to New York, left the group. Meanwhile, Chris Boyce's instincts for making a decent living, which are remarkably well developed for a musician, were compelling him to move to San Diego and out of the sphere of practical membership in the group. Now if there's anything nature abhors more than a vacuum, it's lack of percussion in a contemporary musical group. This abhorrence and the vacuum created by Chris' & Vern's departures apparently caused nature, in one of her more capricious moments, to draw drummer Alvaro Nuñez inexplicably toward the rhythmic nightmares that comprise many of the musical compositions of Donald Moore.Time passed, and passed some more, now marked by the steady beat coming from Alvaro's drum kit. Eventually, Garred heard what might be described as a higher, or at least louder, calling, and in the blaze of a spotlight, ascended from Little World. I believe he is currently in heavy metal heaven, gracing the leaden angels with the mercurial sounds of his five-string bass.Bryan continues his digital duel with the devil, fiddling for his life - Oh the sweet sound of survival! All the wonderful people who've come & gone from the group continue with us in spirit and through the magic of digital recording, automobiles & the internet, are bound to appear on upcoming releases.(I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 www.strikefile.com/myspace)

Grasping & Letting Go

The Price of Gas comes down

In honor of dropping gasoline prices, I've taken down "The Price of Gas" from our featured song list. I had intended to replace it with a tune called "The Question Mark Cat", but the capricious n...

Under the Silent Sky - No Longer

Well, I guess uploading songs is still a bit dicey on myspace. I deleted "Under the Silent Sky" to make room for the new and improved mix, which I have been trying to upload for about half a...
