Stevie Nicks was born May 26, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona. As a young child, she was influenced to sing by her Grandfather who was a struggling Country singer. Her influence as a song writer and unmistakeable voice along with the guitar arrangements by Lindsey Buckingham, catapulted the band into Rock Star Status. Stevie is also known for her breakout career as a solo artist. Stevie's voice and personal dress style sets her apart from all the other female rockers out there. She is the Queen of Rock n Roll! Stevie is loved and adored by many fans the world over. She is also my favorite singer and performer. I have been a fan of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks since I was 12! I have collected albums and cd's for years. I also was told by many people, when I was younger, that I looked like her. What a compliment! I never let it go to my head, but then again, it was nice to hear! I remember many concerts where just her presense on stage made the whole audience feel like they were one with her.
