ZAQUE: THE SEARCH IS STARTINGZaque is a band that has been developing the new sound of funk and R&B fused with layered electric guitars and synthesizers. Songwriter/producer, Zach Dredge has been writing the material for Zaque since 2001 and records all parts (drum, bass, synth/keys, guitars, vocals) by himself. During his live shows, Dredge sings lead vocals and plays lead guitar. He is backed by Cameron Boy's playing of the BR-8 track recorder. The music is loud, boisterous, and mixes the element of live time guitars with multiple track background mixing.
Dredge has played up and down the eastern seaboard as well as in the Midwest and west coast. He has played at established venues such as CBGBs and the Stone Pony. His touring plans include future European dates as well as Japan.
Currently, in addition to Zaque,
both Dredge and Boy are working with other side projects (Dredge has been playing with NYC dancerock assembly, WHATWHATWHERE?, as keyboardist since Spring 2007 and playing guitar/keyboard for Boy's solo band).
