Legion Victorious was formed by Gator and Mica from the ashes of a band called Death Penalty in the summer of '95. Along with Jeff Drew on 2nd guitar we drank and taught ourselves how to play over the next 4 years. 1999 saw the addition of Matt O'Meara on the drums, and shortly there after we were playing shows in San Jose, San Fransico, and Monterey. With the help of other local metal acts like Liquid 8 and Retribution, Legion soon had a strong following and scene in our hometown of Monterey, Ca. until our favorite bars shut down or banned us. Shotly after Legion Victorious split, with Mica joining Sol Asunder, and Gator and Matt moved to Kansas to try reforming the band. After recruiting two new guitar players (Dan Holmeyer and Greg Duesett) Legion played a handfull of shows, then decided to move back to Ca. in '04, spliting ways with Dan and Greg, who are still our great friends. Reuniting with Mica and adding former Liquid 8 axe-man Josh Gonzalez in '05 Legion Victorious has recorded a new demo with plans for our first full length album to begin recording in early '07. ---------------------------------------------------
