too many interests... however, here are a few: sleeping, dreaming, tennis (i'm totally geeked out on that right now), design, art, martial arts, taoism, wicca, the generally new agey occult thigamajig, travelling, films/video (i call this my virtual crack), speaking of virtual worlds actual VR is a "real" interest of mine, ants (sometimes weird but cool nonetheless), guitar (i'm not very good), sci-fi/fantasy/general reading
I don't really know who I'd like to meet. I suppose anyone who treats me with a certain amount of basic consideration and who tries to be themselves. Although, I recognize that it takes time to feel comfortable with people sometimes. I enjoy hanging out with people who have a passion for life and have a generally happy attitude.
i'm pop-music challenged. pretty much up for anything. I'm an old-school raver so I enjoy trance and progressive house, but I've also been know to enjoy country western music so go figure.
I'll have to fill this in later, since i see so many movies. I'm actually trying to get away from watching so many movies because I've been tabulating how many hours of my life adds up watching these "moving pictures".
Although i usually hate reality shows I really enjoyed Amish in the City which was an interesting take on cross-cultural issues
I hate to admit that I like Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy, but we all need mental Doritos every once in a while, or at least I do
Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Pretty geeky but I enjoy it.
The Daily Show (they should cut the interviews)
Furturama - i love the sardonic tone of it
Smilla's Sense of Snow by Peter Hoeg
All the OZ books
anything by Gene Wolf
Tao of Pooh
Urban Shaman
The Magician's Companion
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Vurt by Jeff Noon
I've never really idolized anyone but I guess I'd say Monica Seles - I love her attitude towards life and tennis, plus I like the idea of having the opposite of what people would generally except for a guy's hero to be my heroine.
