In an era where ringtones and swag overshadow the true essence of being an MC, Bliz Balboa would rather die than compromise his lyrical integrity. Moving crowds since the age of 15 has always come easy for the Lowell, Mass. native. Trying to write "hits" and attract a mainstream audience however, has not come as natural. Bliz has worked in the studio with major artists such as Snoop Dogg, Killer Mike, Black Rob, Chip Fu, Darryl McDaniels (Run DMC), and countless other local rap celebs. Even with all the big name plugs Bliz remained unsigned. Having no record deal for quite some time along with the break up of his long time rap group "Tha Addicts" left Bliz feeling uninterested in the rap game and uninspired by the music industry. However, with an inner beast that's only calmed by beats Bliz couldn't give up that easy. Now making music for himself first and foremost, Bliz isn't worried about the big record deal dream. When asked about record deals Bliz says, "If it comes it comes. If not, I'll be here doing what I does. I'm a fuckin beast! Music is my therapy. I ain't beggin no man for nothin." Bliz Balboa is the rapper's rapper. In it for the love of the game and nothing else.
