hey everyone, this is the worst way to contact me! I'm on Facebook (URL thecitricwonder) and my AIM sn has never changed (papple124)HAHAHA Who reads about me's?
I've never done this before. How does one sum up the self in so short a section?
Well I'll give it a shot any way. I was born Taylor Campbell Moore and to this day that is who I remain, legaly anyway. Really I could be anyone you want. "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
But who am I? The person inside the body? I am an idle mind playing with big ideas and trying them to fine details. I am an artist of the visual and literary variety which makes me very wordy and conceptual. defeat the convention, kill the norm, then steal its wife and flee off to someplace where you don't speak the language; the stuff of dreams.
I am also a daoist. OR. Really in this modern world everything is so twisted and perverted that its hard to know what to believe but I do NOT NOT NOT believe in the big pie in the sky holding the book of life and sin and telling us about how fucked we are if we don't submit to his will. This world is no never ending march of snowflake souls and it seems much more likely to me that we have been in a few bodies before this one and we'll be in a few more soon to come.
I'm an anarchist but I fear the very political philosophy that I think makes most sense so I guess that makes me a radical liberal which is an oxymorn. But then again the world is full of contradictions like that, like love that is so strong it hurts, or lying to someone with honest intentions.
Well there you go, thats about me.
Oh yeah and the place the Blood Brothers describe in crimes... Thats where I live.
"America: its not so bad if you don't think"
As long as there is a lower class, I am in it. As long as there is a criminal element, I’m of it. As long as there is a soul in prison, I am not free.

It’s the 21st century, are you excited?
The Year 2000, we all knew to be special for a few reasons, first and most obviously the first digit of the year changed. But what else is there in a new century and millennium?
In order to see where we are going from here it is important to look back. We of the post 60’s generation sometimes forget that within only the last hundred years we have flung ourselves forward dramatically as a society. Where once men and women might have seemed different creatures altogether now we know that we are (or at least should be) on the same page, and as for civil rights, as an idea equality is still an infant. If we look back further past living memory we see that we have only recently removed monarchs from their position of overwhelming power, yet still the concept of total control lives on in the form of fascist tyranny.
The scientific revolution may be old news but its latest form is a revolution all of its own in the form of communication and information access. Now I don’t know you and you don’t know me, you live in china and I live in the U.S. but we can still have a conversation in real time, can you imagine that? No need to imagine that which is true, you can behold it yourself!
But what am I getting at with this brief review of history? Shameless back patting for the successful reformation of others? Perhaps for vanity plays a part in the life of almost every artist, but my true intention is a question that I wish to ask you. I’ve said it once but I’ll say it again so as to keep it fresh in your head:
It’s the 21st century, are you excited?
Are You Excited? What do I mean by this? We’ve come so far can’t we just sit back and let the system work? Well the fact of the matter is that the system doesn’t work without us, it falls into disarray and corruption.
In this new century we must have a whole new set of goals. The civil/sexual rights battle is no longer a war of legislation, but now it is a war to be fought in our own heads. Equality will not be won with programs like affirmative action, which in truth gives rise to a new type of racial tension, instead we have to be more conscious of our own mental mechanisms and attitudes, for instance the idea that attributes and mannerisms of various races are biologically present at birth rather then acquired through life experience may seem obviously untrue, yet many people unconsciously cling to the notion that Asians are born to do math, or that Blacks have a basketball gene. The same holds true to understanding of gender. Some men look at an abrasive or outspoken women as if she is mentally unstable in some way where as a man with the same attributes is just cocky. I won’t even try and get into the double standard of the stud verse the slut for I think it’s already adequately clear that we have plenty of social change ahead of us. As for politics that isn’t my strong point but I think everyone recognizes an aristocrat even if their power is not official. The divide between the rich and the poor has brought other societies down in the past, and as much as I hate the cliché, history does have a way with repeating itself.
So with all of this change behind us in the past, and the newfound power of super communication in our present, what will the future hold? It makes me wonder how people can continue going about their lives with heads full of nineties style apathy, when they are standing on the threshold of what could be an era of further great change. It makes me crazy! It makes me want to scream…
It’s the 21st century, are you excited?!?
Yours truly,
-Taylor Moore
