Hellooooooooo MySpacers and SI supporters! After much discussion and thought, Standard Issue has decided to disband. Tonight at the Paris theatre will most likely be our last show. We may play here and there in the future, but for all intents and purposes, Standard Issue from Portland Oregon will be no more. This was not a light-hearted decision on anyone's part and there are no hard feelings or drama. This is a mutual decision and a positive one for each of us individually right now. The reason we wanted to say something through here, is because we know there are people who check in with us on MySpace and we wanted you all to know up front what's going on so as not to hear something "through the grapevine" - :). We are forever grateful for the support and love you have shown us over the last 3 years....(the old-timers know who they are). You have given your time, money, support, and yes...some of you have even given blood...(T-rav). We couldn't fade away without thanking all of you. For those of you who know us personally...PLEASE stay in touch. We are all still friends of course and will probably see each other around...so don't be stranger. So if you all can make it, come down to the Paris tonight and check out the show. I believe we go on 3rd...probably around 9ish...but you all know how that goes - :) We'll leave the MySpace site up for a bit in case anyone wants to get in touch or drop a line. We'd love to hear from you.
