About Me

Her blessings to the body of Christ are to many to tell. Worship Leader, Missionary to nearly every nation of the world, Prayer Director, Author and friend of the nations. These words are a futile attempt to label a woman who was to large for any one label. Her life was that of an Ambassador as her feet touched over 240 nations of the world for Christ.
It is my attempt on this page to keep her memory, ministry and music alive for the generations to come. Take the time if you knew her to leave your memories, your stories and your thoughts on the comments of this page for the world to read.
Ruth Ward Heflin
After a lifetime of serving the Lord among the nations of the world, Ruth Heflin went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2000. Her memorial service was a great tribute to the glory of God and to the fruit of a life lived in love and obedience to Him.
Before her passing, Sis. Ruth Heflin decided to offer to the world, via the Web, the revelatory knowledge entrusted to her by God. www.calvarycampground.org

Rev. Ruth Ward Heflin was a Christian minister among the nations for nearly 40 years. In 1997 she returned to the United States to help with the American revival. She pastored Calvary Pentecostal Campground in Ashland, Virginia, as well as Prophetic Prayer Ministry in Jerusalem, an international prayer ministry in Jerusalem, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1997. Ruth started Prophetic Prayer Ministry with an emphasis on intercession through praise and worship.
Ruth was a featured speaker at Brownsville Assembly of God, Pensacola, Florida; Catholic revival conferences; as well as her conferences in America and abroad. Recognized for her prophetic anointing, revelation and the ability to teach and lead people into spontaneous worship, Ruth ministered to heads of state and leaders throughout the world. She hosted Prayer Breakfasts for the past two Presidential Inaugurations in Washington, D.C., which were attended by many members of Congress as well as international ambassadors and leaders. She was a guest chaplain to open the U.S. Congress and the Pennsylvania Senate.
Born into a classic Pentecostal family, she was at home among Protestants, Catholics, Jews and Muslims. She was known for her gospel songwriting, of which "I Ask for the Nations" and "The Wheel Within the Wheel" are sung worldwide. Her best-selling book, "Glory", has been translated into twelve languages. "Glory", "Revival Glory", "River Glory" and now "Harvest Glory" are being used worldwide as handbooks for revival.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Sis. Ruth has already met the one for which she longed. Each song, each sermon, each breathe was about Jesus and looking in his wonderful face. I along with all of her friends rejoice now that she is finally "face to face"
