About 3 Stripe Avenue
Remnants of 3 Stripe Ave can be traced as early as 2003 when 2 young, musical, brothers, were struck by lightning simultaneously, and immediatly saw a strange vision of 3, striped, burn marks, etched into the ave on which they stood. Not knowing exactly what this vision meant, the brothers continued to perform with a new found energy producing some of the best music they had ever heard. Suddenly they realised... "this is the name of our f@?*ing band dude."
Initially playing as a duo, the brothers realised that the vision had empowered a 3rd member, yet to be discovered. After an epic search, the prophecy was finally fulfilled in early 2006, and with the aid of Cameron on drums, the power trio "3 Stripe Ave" was born .
Their music is described as essentially Rock with a flamboyant harder edge Alt ‘a’ Billy style about it. 3 Stripe Ave are the current Erina Youth Centre Battle of the Bands champions and have just completed their first, self titled, EP "3 Stripe Ave," which includes four of the bands hottest tracks to date. The EP will be on sale mid January at all 3 Stripe Ave concerts. Hope to see you there.
