About Me

iaMHer is Her and her guitar and her voice and some extra MIDI elements to liven up the music. iaMHer has been performing around Austin since 2006 frequenting coffee houses and early in their career Beerland, Elysium. Originally from Ohio, Her, then Sophie, picked up the guitar at age 15 and took a few lessons but mostly taught herself to play. Her began writing songs and only playing in her bedroom with terrible stage fear. It has been 12 years since then and she has overcome the fear but still gets pre-show butterflies. At an iaMHer performance, you can expect mostly original songs written by Her and at times a few covers by her most loved influences. Her takes the stage with her guitar and plays and sings for you, twisting stories of lost love and memories without falter.
