Ashes of utopiA [Studio Project]

- 1999 the independent crossover-band Aberatio was founded by Marcus S. (Ashes: Mozgat, Keyboards), Dirk V. (Bass guitar), Frank P. (Rythm guitar), Christian K. (Drums) and Oliver V. (Ashes: Elvadul, Guitars & 2nd vocals), who also adopted the leading vocals later. The success stayed away in the beginning but they became quickly more popular by the time and with various, smaller gigs.
- 2002 the first self made album called Beneath the Seven Seas was released, popularity rose in local youth clubs above all and they always saved a top place at bigger events.
- 2003 Sascha N. (Ashes: Sarkany, Screams & vocals) joined the band for new leading vocals because it was decided in- and externally that the music is still too soft.
Aberatio Version 2 is born.

- Christian K. (Drums) left the band a half year later.
- August 2004 Dirk V. (Bass guitar), one of the last founding members of Aberatio, sadly decided to leave the band for good. This was the finishing stroke for Aberatio and starting shot for the so far conducted side-project Ashes of utopiA, to rise from immersion and overcome mankind ...

- At 17th of july 2005 the first self made demo Burn to Ashes has been released and fed to population. The cd took about one year of hard work including a very expensive cover artwork and is therewith the absolute centerpiece of Ashes of utopiA's individual music.
- After having a few gigs the band found out that they won't reach anything in its genre with partly extreme melodic virtuosity and decided in the end of 2005 to replace a little part of melody with groove and punch.
- 2008 the band decided to turn into some kind of studio project since theres no time for constant rehearsals and/or gigs. There will still be some songs some times so always stay tune and - STAY BURNING!
